Université des Montagnes

In 2022, the Université de Montagnes (UdM) approached Yaba-In to transition its Public Health training program to Open and Distance Learning (ODL) on an experimental basis, in the form of a 100% online program. Yaba-In supported UdM from design through delivery via the services listed above. UdM launched its first fully online program on January 1, 2023, with Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) as a new partner, which awarded nearly 27 scholarships to students enrolled in this program, with program oversight provided by the University of Ngaoundéré.

Main project

Thanks to the work and professionalism of our teams, the very first academic year (2023–2024) of MASPEL-UdM launched with one specialty enrolling 79 learners who paid their tuition in full (€1,900). This cohort brought together students from 18 nationalities worldwide.
The following year, while the first cohort completed their second-year master’s through online defenses technically supported by our teams, the 2024–2025 academic year recorded 108 new enrollments. UdM went further: that same year two additional online programs were created—Financial Engineering and Actuarial Science — Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Biomedical Engineering.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, UdM announced the launch—still online and in addition to these three programs—of five new specializations.
